What is ManaArchive?
Getting started
ManaArchive is a print-aware collection tracker for Magic: The Gathering. It records every copy by printing, finish, condition and language, and remembers which binder page and slot or which box it sits in. Around that it handles CSV imports, card values, deck building, trades and public sharing, on the web and in an Android app.
Who makes ManaArchive?
Getting started
Cory Fishburn builds it, and Kingpost Software LLC, a software company in Phoenix, Arizona, operates it. The About page names both and lists where the card data, prices and commander statistics come from. About ManaArchive
Is there an iPhone app?
Getting started
No. The ManaArchive app is Android only today, on Google Play, where it scans cards with the phone's camera. On an iPhone, the website works in the phone's browser and signs in to the same account. ManaArchive on Google Play
How is ManaArchive different from ManaBox, Moxfield or Deckbox?
Getting started
Each is built around a different job. ManaBox centres on scanning cards on a phone, Moxfield on building decks, and Deckbox on trading with other users. ManaArchive centres on where each physical copy lives: the binder, page and slot, or the box. It imports CSV exports from all three, so a collection can move over. Compare the collection trackers
Who is ManaArchive for?
Getting started
Personal MTG collectors who want better imports, clearer holdings, and a more usable trade workflow than a generic spreadsheet. Traders and storefront-style users get the same print-level record.
Can anyone create an account?
Getting started
Yes. Account creation is open, so you can sign up and start importing your collection right away.
Do I need an account to browse cards?
Getting started
No. The public Magic catalog is open — every set, edition, and printing, with legalities, rulings, and commander pages, without signing in. Search the card catalog
Can I import a ManaBox export?
Imports
Yes. The import flow is designed around ManaBox-style CSV exports and keeps unresolved rows in a review queue instead of silently degrading your data.
What happens to rows that don't match?
Imports
They are stored as needs-review or failed rather than merged into your collection. You resolve them one at a time, and matched rows create a new holding or stack onto an existing one as normal.
Does importing lose print details?
Imports
No. Each row is matched on the strongest identifier it carries — first the Scryfall ID, then the set code, collector number, and name together, then a live Scryfall lookup — so the finish, language, and exact printing survive the import.
How large a file can I upload?
Imports
A single upload is capped at 5 MB of CSV, which covers a very large inventory. Imports of that size are processed in the background with a progress bar, so you do not have to sit on the page while they run.
Does it track card prices?
Pricing
Yes. Prices come from a nightly Scryfall bulk sync, and a price snapshot is written as each card is updated.
Can I see what my collection was worth last week?
Pricing
Yes. A daily snapshot of collection value is charted on the dashboard alongside deck and collection stats, and each card keeps its own price history.
How does the trade binder work?
Trading
It is manual-tag-only. Cards appear in the trade binder because you marked them for trade — nothing is added or removed on your behalf because a copy count crossed a threshold.
Can I share a deck or binder with someone?
Trading
Yes. Every deck, binder, and box has its own visibility — private, unlisted, or public — and public links are readable without an account.
How do I add friends?
Trading
Friend requests use a code, so you can add someone from a playgroup without hunting for an exact username, then send trade requests from their profile.
Is there a free plan?
Plans
Yes. Free, Plus, and Pro plans exist. Imports, binders and boxes, decks, and the trade binder all work on Free, with per-tier limits on how much you can store. Compare plans and prices
Can I get my data back out?
Plans
Yes. Every collection, binder, and box has an Export menu that prints the list, saves it as a PDF, or downloads it as a CSV, sorted and filtered the way it is on screen. Your profile page adds CSV exports in TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Moxfield, and Deckbox formats, and a full account export plus grace-period account deletion are built in.
