Terms of Use
Effective
These terms cover what you can expect from ManaArchive and what we expect from you. We have kept them as short and as specific as we can.
The short version: your collection data is yours and you can export or delete it any time, paid plans renew until you cancel, prices are third-party estimates rather than appraisals, and trades happen between people — ManaArchive keeps the record, not the cards.
1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Kingpost Software LLC, formerly Storatix LLC, which operates ManaArchive (“ManaArchive”, “we”, “us”), covering the ManaArchive website, the public card catalog, and the signed-in collection workspace (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of this agreement.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
- Give accurate registration details and keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about security and billing.
- Keep your password and any connected sign-in provider secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share credentials or let someone else use your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@manaarchive.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your collection data
You own your data. Your collection records, decks, notes, imports, and anything else you put into the Service remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — including making backups, computing values, and publishing the specific items you choose to share publicly or push to a marketplace you connect. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.
You are responsible for the content you upload: it must be lawful, and you must have the right to upload it. You can export a complete copy of your account at any time from Settings, so you are never locked in.
4. Plans, billing, and cancellation
The Service offers a free plan and paid plans with higher limits and additional features. The limits that apply to each plan are shown in the app and are enforced by the Service — attempting to work around them is a breach of these terms.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe’s checkout is also governed by Stripe’s terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.
- Cancel any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then, and we do not prorate partial periods.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we decide otherwise at our discretion. Taxes are your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will email you at least 7 days and no more than 30 days before the new price is first charged. The email states the current and new price, the renewal date the new price starts from, and how to cancel. The new price never applies to a period you have already paid for, and if you cancel before that renewal you are not charged it.
- Downgrades may make some content read-only or block new additions where you are over the lower plan’s limits. We do not delete your data because you downgraded.
- Failed payments may result in your plan reverting to the free tier after we attempt to reach you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or use the Service to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service, or use automated tools against it beyond ordinary personal use.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained from the Service, including the card catalog and pricing data.
- Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, authentication, or any other technical restriction.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission.
- Upload malware, or interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service’s infrastructure.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization.
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service, except where that restriction is unenforceable by law.
Responsible security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, report it privately to support@manaarchive.com and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.
6. Sharing, friends, and trades
You control the visibility of every deck, binder, and box. Anything you mark public or unlisted can be read by people with the link, and public items may be indexed by search engines. Do not publish anything you are not comfortable making visible.
Trades happen between people, not through us. Trade requests are a record-keeping and communication tool. ManaArchive does not escrow cards, verify condition, guarantee that anyone ships, handle payments, or take any part in the exchange itself. Any trade you agree to is a transaction between you and the other person, entirely at your own risk.
7. Third-party services and data
Card metadata, images, and prices come from Scryfall, and aggregate commander statistics are derived from Archidekt data. That information is provided as-is by those sources. We do not control it and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current.
Prices shown in the Service are estimates, not appraisals. They are third-party market data on a delay and should not be relied on for insurance, valuation, tax, or investment decisions. Prices for cards you actually sell will differ.
If you connect a marketplace seller account, listings are pushed to your own account on that platform, and your use of it is governed by that platform’s terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you list, for fulfilling any sale, and for complying with the platform’s rules. We are not a party to those sales, and we never move money between users.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to ManaArchive and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service, and nothing more.
ManaArchive is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering, its card names, card images, mana symbols, and set symbols are trademarks and copyrights of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we run maintenance, deploys, and scheduled data syncs that can interrupt availability. We do not promise any particular uptime. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data first. Features labeled beta or experimental may change or be removed without notice.
10. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is scheduled with a short grace period, after which your data is permanently purged as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that creates legal risk for us or other users, or that we are required to act on by law. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — do.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that card data, prices, or valuations will be accurate. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export feature exists for exactly that. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ManaArchive and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost collection value, or losses arising from a trade or sale, even if we were advised such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ManaArchive and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your trades or sales with other people, or your breach of these terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and ManaArchive agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection right you have under the law of your country of residence.
15. General terms
- Changes. We may update these terms as the Service changes. The effective date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

17. Affiliate links
Some pages include links to buy cards on TCGplayer. Those are affiliate links: if you follow one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links that earn a commission are labelled where they appear.
An affiliate link does not change what we show you. Prices in the Service come from Scryfall market data and are not supplied by, adjusted for, or influenced by any affiliate relationship, and we do not rank, sort, or recommend cards based on what we would earn. We are not the seller: your purchase is a transaction between you and TCGplayer, governed by their terms, and we are not a party to it.
